New Style Reports this Year
Following the very successful parental engagement sessions held and hosted by our two Deputy Headteachers in the spring term, combined with feedback from a number of staff working groups we are looking forward to seeing the impact of our new style reports. Instead of just two reports a year, parents and carers will be receiving three – at the end of each term.
With less of an emphasis on written text and through the use of well thought out Attitude to Learning (AtL) descriptors, more closely aligned with our Keys to Success, as well as codes related to all aspects of learning in and out of school, we are hoping that parents become more informed about their children’s progress and achievement both in and out of school and are more easily able to see the key areas for improvement.
The AtL scale is now a 4 point scale and all students should be aiming to SCORE 4!
The pictures show Assistant Headteacher Mr Mitman outlining to staff in Staff Briefing on Friday morning the key features of the new style reports which are due to be published for the first time in December.
