This week marked the beginning of the Year 12 Transition Tests and the Year 10 PPE. The Year 12 students began their exams on Monday, while Year 10 students started on Thursday.
Ahead of the exams, the students attended a special assembly led by our Head of of Standards, SEN and Safeguarding Mrs Ash, where they were introduced to the JCQ exam rules and regulations. This assembly helped reinforce the importance of exam conduct and set a calm, focused tone for the days ahead.
We’re pleased to share that it has been a very positive start. Students across both year groups have been working exceptionally hard during their exams and the feedback from our invigilators has been very positive.
The PPEs and transition tests play an important role in preparing students for their public exams and in some cases, may even be used as evidence for special consideration should the need arise in the summer next year.
The Year 10 students will receive their PPE results during a special results celebration assembly on Tuesday the 15th July, where we will celebrate their efforts and achievements.
We wish all our students the very best for the remainder of their exams.
