Sycamore House Assembly – Building Positive...

On Wednesday, the Sycamore House held an assembly led by our Head of House Mrs Patel, who focused on one of Bushey Meads School’s key values  “Relationships”. Mrs Patel spoke about the importance of building healthy relationships among students to create a positive community and support everyone’s mental wellbeing.

Students were reminded to always treat themselves and others with kindness and respect, helping to make our school an even more caring and supportive place.

During the assembly, students were also encouraged to take part in the House Art Competition and the exciting opportunity to design Sycamore House’s new logo for 2025/2026. The winning design will proudly feature in all house presentations throughout the year.

In addition, Sycamore students were invited to donate items to our local food bank and for each donation made, students will receive an R2 reward point.

The assembly concluded with well-deserved congratulations to Arianna, who received the Best Attendance Award, and Olivia, who earned the Best Attitude to Learning Award. Well done to both students!
