Students Take the Lead in A Level Dance

In our most recent A Level Dance lesson, the tables were turned as our students stepped into the role of teacher. Taking charge of the session, they delivered an engaging exploration of the legendary Gene Kelly and his influential works in dance and film.

Each student prepared worksheets and designed mini quizzes to test their peers’ understanding, ensuring the lesson was not only informative but also interactive. Their creativity and confidence shone through as they presented key insights into Kelly’s unique style, his fusion of ballet and tap, and his role in shaping dance on screen.

This student-led approach gave them the chance to develop leadership and communication skills, while reinforcing their own knowledge in a fun, supportive environment. The session was a great success – well done dancers!
