Exciting STEM opportunities await students passionate about aviation!
The 2025 Aviation Scholarship Programme offers a range of scholarships designed to introduce students to the aviation industry. These scholarships provide essential skills and insights into various career pathways in aviation.
Who Can Apply? 
Gliding Scholarships – Open to students in KS4 and KS5
Flying Scholarships – Open to students in KS5

These scholarships are ideal for aspiring pilots, cabin crew, engineers, air traffic controllers, dispatchers, and anyone interested in aerospace careers.

Available Scholarships
  • 3-hour flying
  • 5-hour flying
  • 12-hour flying
  • Full Private Pilots’ Licence (PPL) – Worth over £12,000
  • £500 gliding bursaries
  • Self Launching Motor Glider (SLMG) conversion course
  • Two-week residential Gliding to Solo course – For applicants with no flying experience
  • 5-hour electric flying training – On a Pipistrel Velis Electro electric plane
Application deadline Sunday, 30th March 2025

To apply for a Scholarship, students must be a member of the Air League which costs £30 per year. This grants them access to 100+ Scholarship opportunities, volunteering opportunities, and events such as networking receptions, dinners and industry tours and visits: Https://airleague.co.uk/individual-membership
