Reading has always been at the heart of our school community, and this year our students have taken that commitment to a whole new level. The impact of Sparx Reader across Years 7–9 has been nothing short of extraordinary, and the numbers speak for themselves.
Outstanding Reading Achievements
These achievements reflect not only the dedication of our students, but also the support of families and teachers who continue to champion the importance of daily reading. Sparx Reader has helped to build strong reading habits, boost confidence, and open doors to new worlds, ideas, and perspectives.
Expanding Success to Year 10
Thanks to the remarkable progress seen in lower school, we are delighted to announce that Sparx Reader has now been rolled out to Year 10. This expansion will support students in strengthening their literacy skills, developing academic vocabulary, and improving their reading age as they move through their GCSE journey.
We know that strong literacy underpins success across every subject, and we are excited to see the positive impact Sparx Reader will have on our Year 10 cohort.
