On Friday the 9th of November we were excited to host the annual Sixth Form Open Evening. Many students and their families joined us at the event during the night. All the available subjects were displayed throughout H-block and the sixth form common room to ensure the year 11’s all the available subjects which can be taken after they leave Bushey Meads.
The sixth form students who also helped out throughout the evening gave out a lot of useful advice to the year 11 students who are planning on joining the sixth form regarding their choice and the subjects they can take. In addition, there were multiple successful talks in the hall regarding the ‘next steps’ for the year 11’s whether that is in the sixth form at Bushey Meads or another sixth form of college.
Overall it was a very successful evening with excellent examples of the hard-working sixth formers scattered across all subjects. These outstanding pieces of work provided internal and external students an idea of what BMS Sixthform is like, keep up the good work sixth form.
