I would like to once again thank the 310 students who took the time to send in a nomination for their ‘best teacher’ from 2024.25 at the end of the last academic year. All staff received a nomination and found it uplifting to read the wonderfully encouraging citations. Here are a few more of them for you to read:

You have a constant dedication to your subject and to your students, always willing to help and go the extra mile for support. Not to mention generally teaching really well, asking engaging questions and you have kept exam practice short – only including key points. Year 13 Student
 
Congratulations Miss Joannou!
She makes lessons actually enjoyable. Her teaching and her kindness make me excited for dance. Her teaching strategies have made me become more active and confident during class discussions and practical work. Under her teaching guidance I’ve made more progress than any other subject. Being in her dance lessons makes me feel happy and comfortable. She is an amazing teacher and my personal favourite. and if anything ever happens she’s always there to comfort and help you and advise you further. Year 8 Student
