More Best Teacher 2024.25 Student Nominations

I would like to once again thank the 310 students who took the time to send in a nomination for their ‘best teacher’ from 2024.25 at the end of the last academic year. All staff received a nomination and found it uplifting to read the wonderfully encouraging citations. Here are a few more of them for you to read:

Congratulations Miss Bragoli!
Because she makes the stuff we do understandable and checks on us if we need help. When we show our dance to her, she gives us feedback on how we could make it better. Year 8 Student

Congratulations Mr Cox!
Very passionate about English. Year 10 Student

Congratulations Miss Joannou!
Miss Joannou is always kind and supportive and makes lessons fun. She also talks to me outside lessons and helps with any concerns I have about anything. She also made Matilda so much fun and makes dance a really enjoyable subject. Dance is one of my favourite subjects as well so it’s nice to have subjects you enjoy that teachers are so passionate about and have good relationships with too because it really helps you like them even better and have a good understanding of them too. Year 8 Student

Congratulations Ms Young!
She is very nice and extremely good at computer science; she has also gone out of her time to assist me with my work and shown a lot of congratulations to me after I achieved a level 9 in both of our class tests. Despite the below average behaviour of my class, she still manages to teach those who are listening and provides many exercises for the lesson and for students who have completed all the work. Year 10 Student

Congratulations Mr Abusef!
Good teaching style and confident helpful manner ensuring everyone was on track for success. Year 11 Student

Congratulations Miss Samuels-Redhead!
You put so much effort into your lessons and have helped me in feeling confident that I have succeeded in my A levels. I am very grateful that you have been so supportive, giving her time to run maths masterclass. I thank you for your hard work and patience. Year 13 Student

Congratulations Ms Razavi!
You put so much effort into your lessons and have helped me in feeling confident that I have succeeded in my A levels. I am very grateful that you have been so supportive, giving your time to help me understand tough Chemistry topics. I thank you for your hard work and patience. Year 13 Student

Congratulations Mr Newton!
He’s just a great teacher and has the best lessons. Year 10 Student

Congratulations Ms Uddin!
She cares about her students. Year 10 Student

Congratulations Ms McDermott!
Because she always makes time to talk to you and make sure that if there are any problems she will try and help you find a way to fix it. She will always encourage you to do your best even if you don’t think you can do it. She also will talk and comfort you when you are crying. Year 12 Student
