More Able Evening Showcases Talent and...

Our annual More Able Evening launched this year’s programme as well as showcasing the incredible talent and hard work of our students. This year’s theme of “Engagement and Enrichment” came to life through a variety of performances and presentations that highlighted the exceptional abilities of our more able learners.

The evening kicked off with a dazzling display of dance, featuring some of our most gifted dancers. Their captivating routines showcased not only their technical skills but also their passion and creativity. In addition to the dancers, we were treated to a stunning piano performance by one of our talented Year 11 pianists.

Our more able Year 10 students and STEM leaders then took to the stage to share their experiences, top tips and achievements. Year 12 students who participated in last year’s Time to Shine programme spoke about their experiences, highlighting the enriching activities and valuable lessons they learned.

Head Boy Tom spoke about the early entrance process with UCAS. His insights provided valuable guidance for students looking to further their education and navigate the complexities of university applications.

Completion of projects from the More Able Handbook leads to an invitation to a rewards trip in July, and Maya and Bea spoke about last year’s visit to Sea Life and the London Eye.

We are incredibly proud of all our students who participated, and we look forward to seeing how this year’s more able students continue to engage in, and enrich, their learning journeys in the future. Thank you to everyone who made this event possible, and to all our attendees for their support.
