Many subject and faculty areas at Bushey Meads have seen significant year on year improvements over the last four years and our inspirational Design and Technology Faculty is one such area.

It was great to hear from Head of Faculty Mr Chalkley and Deputy Head of Faculty Mrs Hanbury about how they have established a great culture of empowering leaders to take responsibility for faculty improvement and balanced it with the key ingredient of strong accountability.

Hard work, incremental improvement, regular marking and feedback and effective engagement with parents and carers were just some of the excellent strategies outlined on Monday morning in our Staff Briefing Meeting.
