Mental Health is Important and we’re...
Assistant Headteacher Mrs Greenwood led the Main School Assemblies this week and offered the exciting opportunity to 20 BMS students to become Mental Health Champions. The assembly explained about the importance of good mental health and simple steps that we can all take to ensure our mental health is as positive as it can be. We all have a responsibility to be kind to one another, to look out for one another and support each other to be healthy and in particular to promote good mental health.
The main message of the assembly is that as a school we care about you and we are hoping that our newly appointed Mental Health Champions take the lead in promoting this agenda further over the coming months.
Mrs Greenwood is welcoming applications from Years 7 – 12 so look out for the application form which will be sent out this week.
