Mental Health during the Christmas season
As we prepare for the build up to Christmas it is important to remember that not everyone within our school community and extended school community will be looking forward to Christmas.
While we are exposed to picture perfect family christmas adverts full of happy families and plentiful food this is not the case for all.
If you are struggling over the festive period (either parent or student) there are places that can help or signpost you to support.
There are many ways in which we can support our own mental health and that of others during this busy season. These can include eating well, taking time out in nature, connecting with people and stepping away from social media.
Students can speak to our Mental Health Champions or the pastoral team in school time or during the holidays you/they can use the following services;
