It was superb to welcome so many students and their parents and carers to our inspirational More Able Evening on Tuesday this week. Led by our More Able Coordinator Mrs Razavi and some of our inspiring More Able students, the packed audiences had a chance to reflect on what they could do to continue to stretch themselves across and beyond all areas of the curriculum as they strive to excel in their subjects at BMS.
The evening was punctuated by some excellent performances and presentations by musicians, dancers, STEM Champions and inspiring More Able students from across all year groups in the school.
This year’s theme of Leading Together has been chosen to remind students that together you can achieve more – working together with the school, with your family members and with your peers can motivate you to achieve great success; something that is proven time and time again in our modern, ever changing workplace environments. It was a truly inspiring evening and we hope that all students identified as being more able in one or more subjects really use the ‘Lead Together’ More Able Booklet and engage in as many More Able projects and activities as they can to increase their enjoyment and happiness as superb More Able learners at BMS.
