All Year 7 and 12 students were involved in a special leadership assembly on Wednesday afternoon of this week.
Assistant Headteacher Ms Silla led the assembly, ably supported by a strong team of Year 13 Senior Student Leaders, including the Head Boy and Girl and Head Prefects.
The students spoke about their own leadership journeys and how leaders across the school contribute to making the school a great place and also give ideas for how to make it even better.
The students also showcased the various house events that take place throughout the year and reminded students of the positive attributes leaders have, including high attendance and exemplary punctuality.
At Bushey Meads there are loads of opportunities for students to step up into leadership positions that enable them to develop as young people, contributing to their local community and standing them in a great place for future study and work.
