Before half term, our Year 11 and Year 13 students and their families gathered for our “Time to Shine” workshop designed to bridge the gap between hard work and the highest possible exam grades.
The atmosphere was one of focused ambition as we explored the “marginal gains” that transform a good grade into an exceptional one. The afternoon provided a unique roadmap for the final stretch of the academic year, ensuring no student feels they are navigating their revision alone.
A highlight of the evening was the Question and Answer session with our Student Subject Specialists. These high-achieving mentors provided a “student’s eye view” of success. It was inspiring to see younger students engaging with their peers to discuss everything from managing exam stress to the best ways to tackle the most difficult Tier 3 vocabulary.
Every student was provided with a bespoke “Time to Shine” booklet to support their final revision activities.
We look forward to seeing our students take these tools and truly begin to shine in their upcoming assessments.
