Next week is Flair Week! An exciting array of events will be taking place across all faculties, providing exciting opportunities for students to learn and be inspired.
All students are invited to take part in reading challenges using the booklets in the LRC, and there will be a special PE focus on leadership for all. We are pleased to welcome visitors from Brunel University, who will be running a Creative Writing workshop and a Computer Games lecture. For our high-achieving Year 11 students, psychologist Dr. Van der Spoel will be hosting a Study Skills workshop to help them prepare for their exams. In addition, Peter Taylor from United World Schools will be speaking to 6th Formers about his work in Private Equity. We also look forward to a guest speaker from the British Medical Journal, who will be addressing A-Level Scientists.
On the creative side, there will be an Art Sculpture Day, a Design Challenge Workshop led by alumni, and the Drama students will be performing their practical exam pieces.
There will also be a range of engaging activities incorporated into timetabled lessons – we look forward to seeing everyone getting involved.
