Extended Project Qualifications at BMS

Extended Project Qualifications at BMS
On Friday last week and on Monday this week it was great to see so many Year 12 students in the Main Hall participating in the culmination of their Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) course. This year over 120 students have completed this hugely important qualification which enables them to not only gain additional UCAS points, but prepares them brilliantly for life beyond Bushey Meads – whether that is in the workplace on apprenticeships or at university.
Students gave presentations about their research and study findings and answered pertinent questions posed by the EPQ assessment team. Listening to some of the presentations made me realise how much they had gained from the experience offered through the EPQ this year.
I would like to congratulate the hard working staff who organised the impressive EPQ days but also the students for really embracing the course and taking their studies so seriously. It was great to see.
