Executive Principal, Mr Turner, delivered assemblies this week on the important theme of ‘Equality and Diversity’.
An explanation of the legislation that came together to form the Equality Act 2010 and the different types of protected characteristics were discussed.
We also celebrated the diversity within Bushey Meads School which makes for a rich and stimulating environment for learning. All students were encouraged to make links between the theme of the week and our core values of Respect, Responsibility and Relationships, alongside the school mantra of ‘Our School has a Mind to be Kind’.
