Consistency is Key and Worth Monitoring...

Assistant Headteacher Mr Mitman led the Monday Magic Moment this week in our Staff Briefing held for all staff in the Main Hall at the start of the week. He reminded us about the power of consistency in establishing positive routines with all students.

Our Character Development Coaches play a significant and crucial role in supporting all students to follow the Keys to Success and the three Rs of Respect, Responsibility and Relationships. On that note he reminded us to monitor the success of the students in our CDC groups through Arbor (our management information system). This way we can easily track students who are regularly getting reward points and consequence points and ensure additional support and encouragement is given where needed.
As parents and carers you can also play your part. Do look on Arbor regularly and have those all-important conversations with your children. Try to notice any patterns and identify whether things need to improve in certain lessons – with attitude to learning or perhaps home learning completion. Do also remember to contact your child’s teacher or learning assistant if needed to discuss with them your concerns or ask any questions if you have any.
All contact details for teachers and learning assistants are available via the school website: https://busheymeads.org.uk/staffing/
