Consideration is Key!
Our Assemblies this week have been particularly powerful and have provided an excellent opportunity for all students and staff to reflect on the part we can all play in creating a school that truly has a ‘Mind to Be Kind’. Kindness to others and kindness to ourselves is a really important part of Consideration which has been our Theme of The Week this week.
Assistant Headteacher Mrs Greenwood reminded us that being considerate doesn’t cost us a lot – sometimes the smallest, simplest things we do show that we are being considerate to each other and they do go an awful long way to making that positive ethos and culture of kindness even stronger.
She also reminded us to be considerate and kind to ourselves – making sure we are getting enough sleep, eating healthily and exercising regularly.
Consideration in the classroom is easy – it is very simple and involves following our ‘Keys to Success’ – displayed in every classroom.
Together let’s consider each other and ourselves and make our school the kindest school we know.
