Fully Funded STEM Engineering Summer School...

I am excited to announce that the University of Hertfordshire is offering a fully funded summer school program designed to inspire Year 10 students to consider a career in Engineering. The program will take place over two days at the University of Hertfordshire on July 24-25 and July 26-27, 2023. The aim of the program is to introduce the year 10 students to the world of Engineering, increase their confidence to consider it as a career option, and provide them with fundamental skills for their journey into university.

The program includes interactive activities related to engineering and university life with a collaborative and innovative teaching style. The summer school will be followed by revision workshops during the Easter holidays in 2024.
All summer school costs, including accommodation and food, will be covered by the Royal Academy for Engineering. Transportation from Hatfield station will be arranged for those travelling by train. If transport costs or getting to campus are a barrier, financial support or alternative transportation can be arranged by the university.
We believe that every student should have the opportunity to participate in this program, regardless of your financial situation. Places are limited, so if you are interested in registering for the Discover Engineering Summer School, please email Mr Abusef ASAP and complete this short form by Friday 10 March 2023.
