Building Bridges, Spreading Positivity:...

When is Vertical Tutoring?

From Monday 23rd June to Friday 4th July, we’re thrilled to be running our termly Vertical Tutoring Programme — and this time, the focus is on ‘Positivity’!

This special fortnight is all about bringing together students from Years 7, 8, and 9 in new, cross-age CDC groups within their Houses. It’s a fantastic chance to mix things up, meet new friends, and learn from each other — all while spreading positivity and good vibes!

Why Vertical Tutoring?

The programme encourages students to collaborate across year groups, building stronger connections within their House community. It’s a unique opportunity to share experiences, support one another, and work together towards a positive school environment.

We can’t wait to see the energy and enthusiasm as our students embrace this chance to grow together with a positive outlook. Here’s to a fortnight full of inspiration, teamwork, and kindness!

Speaking of Inspiration…

As Head of Willow House I also want to say a huge congratulations to 7 willow for being the top CDC in year 7 on Sparx Reader for two weeks in a row – well done!
