Miss Jackman and I were honoured to attend an event at the Radlett Centre last week where we learned so much about what the army could offer schools. There was an inspirational speech which enlightened the audience as to the array of career paths available to all young people. The educational opportunities offered throughout the army make a powerful and extensive list, tapping into practical and theoretical skills that might appeal to our students.
We walked away inspired, enthused and motivated and are looking forward to working in close partnership with the Army Youth Outreach Team. We will be hoping they will be able to facilitate some superb teamwork activities on one of our enrichment days. They could help to support our curriculum in the areas of Leadership, Organisation, Resilience, Initiative and Communication. Watch this space!
