Strengthening Our Partnership: Parent School...

A huge thank you to all the parents and carers who joined us last week for one of our parent school improvement meetings. Hosted by our Deputy Headteachers Mr Beswick and Ms de Groot, these three sessions provided an important space for open dialogue and collaborative planning.

During the sessions, we reviewed several key improvements implemented directly in response to your feedback from last year. These included:

  • Appointing dedicated Cover Supervisors to ensure stability and high standards during staff absences.
  • Launching Year Group Google Classrooms to provide a central hub for student updates and resources.
  • Expanding our Pastoral Team, significantly increasing our capacity to support student behaviour and wellbeing.

The discussions this year were equally productive. We explored what parents believe are the most important factors in helping children thrive, while sharing honest reflections on what is going well and where we can still improve.

These insights will be presented to the Senior Leadership Team for review, and also shared with the whole school community after half-term.

Thank you again to everyone who participated. Your insights are invaluable in helping us make our school the best it can be.
