Elm House Half Term Assembly

As always it was a delight to join Elm House’s half term House Assembly led by Head of House Mr Cox. Currently second place in the House Points League Table I would like to congratulate all the hard working students in our House who continue to enjoy and excel at Bushey Meads School.

The theme of the assembly was Teamwork and Mr Cox reminded students of the four main principles that make teamwork effective: Trust, Communication, Diversity and Accountability. He even provided some memorable examples of the effectiveness of teamwork from the world of nature – see if you can work out the messages from the images on the screen.
In CDC time this week students also experienced teamwork through a practical activity and also watched a promo video about the upcoming House Arts Event taking place on Thursday 30th November in the Main Hall and BSJT Art Gallery at the school.
All parents and carers are welcome to attend this hugely popular annual House Event from 2.15 pm.
Students who aren’t one of the ‘plus one’ special invitees joining the participants, can join from 3.05 pm
