IT STEM Year 2022 to 2023

It has been almost a year and there have been numerous Year 7 students taking interests in the field of computing and IT. We have:

  • Carly and her friend have created dance animation and dinosaur animation using Hour of Code website to help them.
  • Brody and his friends have created a Minecraft game using the Hour of Code website to guide them in the creation of this game.
  • Lamar, Noah and Joshua have attempted the cybersecurity crossword and almost done all the quizzes. Therefore, IT STEM club is not just about using the computers, we can learn by doing crossword or word search too!
  • The final praise goes to Nikolaj Provis who has been coming to the IT STEM club during the summer term and he managed to complete the following activities using Hour of Code website:

o   Minecraft

o   Flappy bird

o   Maze puzzle

o   Hello World

A great thumb up to Nikolaj!

A thank you note to Year 12 student Joshua Riley who has been supporting the club every Friday lunch time without failing. Your help and support to the club are much appreciated.
