We were delighted as a school to receive recent national recognition for our outstanding music provision. Our Head of Music and Advanced Lead Teacher Mr Gray, ensures that hundreds of children each and every week have access to high quality music education in whole class, small group and individual lessons and through a growing range of extra curricular activities. Thanks to Ms Fort, music teacher across the Bushey St James Trust and all the talented music teachers that are committed to providing good quality music lessons and helping the students reach their creative potential.
We have now been officially recognised as a Music Mark School a in recognition of our high-quality music education. The certificate is proudly displayed in the Music Block and the Music Mark logo will appear on all music related letters. Hopefully this is the beginning of lots of further recognition for the Music Department at BMS
