Excellent Staff Training to Start the New...
This year our staff training or INSET days were focussed on Embedding Greatness across our school community. Greatness is achieved by excellent staff all working together, creating a powerful synergy or collective momentum that moves an organisation to the next level.
Many staff contributed to the inspiring programme which also provided time for faculties to share and plan ideas to make for a very successful start to the new academic year. Pictured here Head of Music Mr Gray was sharing some outstanding practice as a Character Development Coach and how he facilitates the Friday focus on everyone reading in CDC time.
As well as spending time analysing our GCSE and A level results and pastoral expectations, we also had training about Special Education Needs and Safeguarding – all key topics related to enabling all students to achieve their true potential.
