Best Teacher 2024.25 Student Nominations

I would like to thank the 310 students who took the time to send in a nomination for their ‘best teacher’ from 2024.25 at the end of the last academic year. All staff received a nomination and found it uplifting to read the wonderfully encouraging citations. Here are a few more of them for you to read:

Congratulations Miss Bragoli!
You went beyond just being an exceptional teacher, you became a safe place where I felt more than comfortable sharing anything. You made dance lessons enjoyable, fun and most importantly taught us the content in an extremely useful way. You are an amazing teacher and I’m forever grateful to you. You always went above and beyond, helping me aspire to achieve my goals and made dance feel more like a home! You are incredible and helped pushed me through my A-levels! Year 13 Student

Congratulations Miss Pearson!
She encourages me to work hard in art and understands the students. Year 10 Student

Congratulations Mr Lyley!
When I had problems in the past he helped me through it all the time and we have always had a good little bond. Year 9 Student

Congratulations Mrs Young!
Taught us really well, genuine passion for teaching computer science, was happy to respond to any questions we had and explained things we don’t understand individually. Year 11 Student

Congratulations Ms Druce!
You are a very engaging, patient and lovely person. Year 12 Student

Congratulations Mr Cox!
Great understanding and also explains everything perfectly for my level; kind and funny. Year 10 Student

Miss Denton makes me enjoy learning English. She is very supportive and kind to anyone and brings whatever she teaches to life. Year 9 Student

Congratulations Mr Kasza!
He regularly tries to make our lessons engaging, gives us fair amounts of homework and he challenges our abilities. Year 10 Student

Congratulations Ms Mohammed!
Best Teacher, teaches so well, and I sure do hope she stays!!! Year 12 Student

Congratulations Mrs Isles!
She is so kind and she lets us make jokes and talk, as long as we are not too loud and don’t do too much of it.
