To Infinity and Beyond

Seven years ago the government made a decision that technology was to play a much larger role in students’ education. Curriculums were re-written,  examination boards changed their rules and schools began to use many of these technologies more frequently in lessons.
Perhaps the most obvious example of this is the scientific calculator,  students are now allowed to use these in most of their science and mathematics exams, as well as other specified subjects. Students will need to have a very strong understanding of how these powerful machines work and be able to apply all of their learning at school to calculator methods. While they may appear simple calculators are a very advanced technology that we use to support teaching and learning every week.
Please support your child and the school by ensuring all students have a scientific calculator ready to use everyday.
