Continued ‘Tweaks to Transform’

Over the past four years we have worked hard as a school to refine year on year our raising achievement strategies that have so effectively supported our students to achieve their true potential and helped them to achieve such great grades in GSCE and A level examinations.

This year we have worked hard to streamline our extremely full and quite complex revision timetable which offers additional sessions to students during the Spring Term to support their studies outside of the usual lessons.

I would like to thank our hard working Deputy Headteacher Mrs Ash and all the MiddleLeaders at BMS (our Heads of Faculty and Heads of Department) in the work that they have done to produce this year’s newly streamlined revision timetable. We know that it will help students to be even smarter with their revision and will alleviate the stress at this crucial time of year. All sessions have a clear theme and subject content and students will not experience the clashes of different subjects being offered at the same time, which has on occasions been their experience in the past.

It was great to hear some really positive feedback already from one parent earlier this week about our efforts in this area:

Dear Mrs Ash,

Happy New Year! I just wanted to say thank you so much for the revision programme. I can appreciate how hard that must have been to put together but it really looks great. The organisation to make sure nothing clashes must have taken an age.

Thank you!

Year 11 Parent

Our hard working Year 11 students now juts have to be really organised in attending all the sessions on offer – DON’T MISS OUT!!
