YEAR 11: Next Steps

We were delighted to welcome Tricha Seecharran from CXK (Apprenticeship Support and Knowledge for Schools) to start off Friday’s enrichment day.

Trisha spoke about Apprenticeships and how you can continue to gain qualifications whilst earning a salary at the same time.

Students then went to start work on their CV’s and Personal Statements which they will finish over the next few weeks during CDC time.

Due to Covid restrictions, West Herts College our local further education college were unable to come into school but have sent in a PowerPoint presentation which we will be showing our students. This will talk them through the options available and expectations of further education in a college environment.

All Year 11 students are being given an initial careers advice and guidance appointment with YC Herts. However, I am always on hand to offer further support and to meet with students with their parents/carers if they wish.
