Meet the advocate
Tuesday after school the Learning Support Faculty held their termly parental engagement event for students with EHCPs. For the autumn term this is an opportunity for the parent or carer to meet with the students advocate, discussing how the academic year has started and making any adjustments to the pupil passports (a key document to ensure teaching staff are aware of any learning needs).
The event was very well attended and the atmosphere was very positive. Thank you to Mrs Seed, SENDCo, and all the wider Learning Support team for making this event a success.
