We’re excited to relaunch the GAP (Get Ahead & Progress) Programme for Summer 2025!
The GAP Programme offers students a chance to stay curious, creative and motivated during the summer holidays. With 20 exciting and varied tasks to choose from, students can try something new, strengthen their skills and have fun while preparing for a confident return in September.
Whether it’s learning a new sport, writing your own song lyrics, exploring your local history, or cooking dinner for your family, the GAP tasks are designed to stretch your thinking and celebrate personal progress. These are not homework tasks, but fun and enriching challenges that help you grow and achieve more.Why take part?

Earn Reward Points on Arbor for each completed task

Check out the Rewards Table below to see how you can earn rewards and remember, students who complete all 20 GAP tasks will be invited to an exclusive rewards trip to Thorpe Park, this could be you this October!
Students should record their completed tasks on the GAP Card and hand it to Mr Abusef or their CDC in the first week of September. Evidence can be anything from a photo, a short reflection, a sketch, whatever shows how you took part.
