My journey at Bushey Meads has been amazing from the start to end.

When I arrived, everyone was kind and genuine and willing to help. My journey with basketball began when I was around 12 years old watching highlights from the NBA and games with my dad. And since then I’ve become obsessed with basketball and I took it seriously in year 9 where I joined a team called West Herts Warriors where I played in the development league for a season and then I progressed to the u16 conference league; this really helped me grow as it was a big jump in terms of competition and when I was 16 I played u18 National league and I played in that league for 2 seasons perfecting my skills and working on my weaknesses.

As well as this I was also playing for my school team and when I was in Year 12. I played in my school team for Bushey Meads and I really enjoyed the lunch times scrimmages with year 12 and 13. It was fun and at times competitive. I played on the team and we did fairly well during the school season. We only lost one game and due to the teamwork and chemistry we played well. The staff at Bushey Meads are very supportive and worked tirelessly to give me support and help when I needed it the Sixth Form team are very kind and helpful and extremely supportive to get their students to the top I also want to thank every teacher who taught me and helped me get better in whatever I was doing so thank you.

As I finished my first season at u18 I received an offer I couldn’t refuse. I got the opportunity to play overseas in Toronto, Canada at a very high level and I couldn’t say no so I began talking to my agent and decided to commit for 1 season and play there. As soon as everything  was confirmed my mum emailed the school and the Sixth Form team were extremely happy for me which was really nice. They were so supportive and proud. Thank you to the Sixth Form team and everyone!!
