Opinion Lines

It was great to hear from our hard working Subject Specialist for Geography Miss Dunsby on Monday of this week in our weekly Monday Magic Moment about how she uses Opinion Lines in lessons to gather students’ views about learning in an interactive and physical way.Encouraging students to justify where they stand on a particular view point encourages higher level thinking, oracy and skills of justifying opinions and thoughts about topics being studied.

It was a very simple, but powerful strategy for taking learning to the next level that all staff could take away and use with immediate effect!
