Celebration of Sparx

Last month, we introduced Sparx Reader to Key Stage 3. The new programme is aimed not only at encouraging students to read more but also at helping them read more carefully, thereby improving their reading skills.

So far, we have had great success, with students having read over 1,000 books in just one month! Students have also completed over 1,700 hours of careful reading—a fantastic effort from everyone.

Furthermore, 27 students have reached their first certificate by achieving a staggering 5,000 Sparx Reader Points—almost double the homework set for them! Congratulations to these students for going above and beyond to improve their reading skills.
