Superb Students Excelling
It was great to wander around BMS after school on Tuesday and see so many students still engaged in learning and enjoying some of the many after school clubs on offer. The enthusiastic students involved in the school’s STEM Club were making a whole array of different inventions and were working hard to solve the inevitable problems that they faced along the way. Pictured here are Year 7 Vex-Robotic students with their Sixth Form Stem Leader building the latest robot which will take part in another upcoming national competition. It was a complex design brief they were following but they were well on the way to tasting more success in this popular arena.
The Year 9 football team were also busy demonstrating their excellent skills and fantastic team work and won their latest match with some stunning goals. It was also nice to see a number of their friends supporting them and cheering them on. There were many other clubs taking place including football training and netball. As parents and carers do encourage your children to get involved in our vibrant extra-curricular programme on offer. It is a great way for students to excel beyond the classroom.
