Dance Student Awards: Autumn 2

The Dance Department’s Student Awards were created to award students from all years and key stages for their commitments, efforts, improvements and successes at the end of every half term. The winners are rewarded with an R4, postcard home and placed on the Dance Student Award display board which is located in the Dance office and pictured below.

Autumn 2 term winners are….

Best Student Homework‘ award is given to Gabriella Chadwick & Jessica Jayaratnam.
The students were set a home learning task to create and choreograph three movements they would then use in class. Gabriella and Jessica got creative and FaceTime one another to complete the home learning task together as a duet. A screenshot has been placed on the display board for all to see and be inspired by. Well done Jessica & Gabriella!

‘Most Improved Dancer’ awards have been awarded to:

  • Alissa Feldman (7W)
  • Casian Tegzes (8M)
  • Harini Pragalathan (9A)

‘Outstanding Dancer‘ awards are presented to one student from each key stage. Congratulations to the following students:

  • Sebastien Jurecek (7A) – Key Stage 3
  • Rhianna Hall (11W) – Key Stage 4
  • Gabrielle Wickham (12B) – Key Stage 5

Well done to the winners!

The Dance ‘Are You Up For The Challenge?’ tasks have been put on this display board to help challenge and further develop your progress. Choose either a dance style or choreographer from the pockets and complete the tasks set. By handing in these tasks you could be in line to win one of the Dance Department’s awards next term!

We look forward to continue seeing your progress and hard work, until then have a lovely Christmas!
