Some of the students and staff at BMS are working very hard to make the school site look as nice as possible come spring. Over the past few weeks they have attended the raised beds ready to plant vegetables and flowers and in the photos you can see Justin, Katherine, Kelly, Alvan, Mrs Isles and Mrs Ellicott planting daffodil bulbs around ‘A’ Block and Learning Support. In addition, many preparations have been put in place for a new polytunnel – of which we will keep you updated.
We are looking forward to the daffodil bulbs blooming in late February / early March. I will remember to take photographs and put them in the newsletter so you see how nice they look.
Finally, a quick plea. If you have any unwanted gardening equipment, please bring it to reception at BMS (or email us so we can collect it). This will allow even more students to get involved with gardening at school.
