Effort is Key

Encourage effort over perfection by praising hard work and persistence. Let your child know that mistakes are part of the learning process, and the key is not to give up. This mindset will help build resilience and confidence in the face of challenges. It’s important to set achievable learning goals for your child, ensuring that expectations are in line with their abilities. Overly ambitious goals can lead to frustration, while underestimating their potential may hold them back. Regularly review the work your child is doing at home to assess your child’s progress and adjust goals accordingly.
