Earlier this week, we held the Year 12 information evening where the Sixth Form team welcomed parents, carers and students to the main hall.
Mr O’Kelly, Associate Leader and Head of Sixth Form, went through the differences between Year 11 and Year 12, particularly in regards to independent study and how students are supported within Bushey Meads School throughout the Sixth Form.
Mr Monks, Deputy Head of Sixth Form, also discussed the supportive programme ‘Elevate and Excel’ which is run by the Character Development Coaches and overseen by Mr Monks to help students achieve the best possible outcomes.
All who attended found the evening to be informative and useful, particularly when given QR codes to get the top tips and subject specific information for the subjects the students are studying.
