It was a very positive start to the week at BMS to listen to a presentation from two of our superb Advanced Lead Teachers at the school Miss Pattni and Mr Symeou. They were launching the BMS Reading Group for all teaching-based staff to attend. At the reading group, which is held every month, staff get together to read the latest inspiring teaching and learning articles and publications. These inevitably generate interesting debate among those who attend and provide a chance to reflect on classroom pedagogy. Many of our outstanding practitioners across the school have involved themselves with our Reading Group over recent years and speak very highly of its impact in improving teaching and learning practice across the school.
