A Gift for Christmas

The Anti-bullying Ambassadors met up with the students of the Princes’ Trust (BMS), to hand over a £211.01 cheque, money raised from their charity events.

The Princes’ Trust will be using the money to buy toys for the children’s wards in Watford General Hospital.

One Kind Word was the theme of our Anti-bullying week this year. One Kind Word in this case is ‘Toy’, an object for a child to play with, an object, often a small representation of something familiar, like an animal or person, for children to play with. For those children who have to spend Christmas in hospital away from their families it can be a particularly difficult time. Offering them a gift, so they know they have not been forgotten is the real meaning of Christmas. This year there will be some extra presents from the students of Bushey meads.

Thank you Ms Whittington and the Princes’ Trust (BMS) for agreeing to accept the money raised by our amazing Anti-bullying Ambassadors

A Merry Christmas to you all and remember

In a world where you can be anything, Be Kind.
