An Excellent Welcome to Sixth Form Evening
It was great to welcome so many parents and carers of our new Year 12 Sixth Form cohort to the school on Tuesday evening of this week and see the Main Hall so full at such an important time in our students’ journey through school. Led by Head of Sixth Form Mr O’Kelly and the SIxth Form Team, the evening was a great success and many parents commented how useful it had been to attend and listen to the key messages being given. The presentations were very informative about all aspects of sixth form life, and were also very reflective of the outstanding ethos and culture inculcated with our most senior students in the school, who are all role models for our younger students.
Sixth Form Leaders Mr Harris and Mr Saich also spoke to the parents and carers and talked about their important key roles within the Sixth Form. It was good for us all to meet a number of ‘new to school’ parents and students. A big thank you goes to all the SIxth Form Team but especially Mrs Sullivan our hard working Pastoral Administration Officer for KS5 who was key to the success of the event.
