Rashmi has been working incredibly hard in her own time to prepare for the end of year exams, and was showing excellent understanding of key topics. She had been peer teaching on a 1:1 and small group basis during lessons but I felt that she needed further extending. I asked if she was prepared to design a revision activity for the class to use, which she happily agreed to. A week later she provided resources and in addition to this had planned a full revision powerpoint for the whole topic! We made a couple of tweaks to the slides to allow for the tasks to be differentiated, and Rashmi presented her activity to the class. The resource has also been shared with other Year 9 teachers which is absolutely fantastic. I am looking forward to giving more students the opportunity to lead activities in class.
Below are some examples of the resources Rashmi created, absolutely outstanding!
