Comment : Monday saw the year 9 team play their penultimate league game of the season against second in the league Parmiters B. The team started slowly and let the home side have a lot of the possession, which they used to their advantage and took a two goal lead. The team started playing some excellent football after that, which led to some very good chances to score.
However the team did pull one goal back before halftime through a very well worked team move. After halftime the side continued where they left off by scoring early to bring the game level. From there on the side went from strength to strength and scored another two goals to secure a healthy lead in the match. We then conceded a third goal towards the end of the game which produced a nervy finish. However these nerves were soon settled again as we scored a fifth to win the game. A really strong second half to end a very good start to the year for the year 9 side.
