The Humanities and Social Sciences Faculty was delighted to welcome back year 11 students, both from Bushey Meads and some from other schools in the area, for two weeks to begin studying their post GCSE courses.
The faculty offers a range of courses including traditional A levels in history, geography and business studies but also A levels in politics, economics, law and philosophy. In addition, move vociation courses in childcare, business studies and travel and tourism are also offered. This bridging week presents the chance for students to discover which subjects they like and may wish to pursue whilst also getting a taste for new subjects which they might not have had before.
