Dance Student Award Winners!

It has been great seeing the students’ progress made in just the first half term in Dance, keep up the great work!

The Dance Department’s Student Awards have been created to award students for their commitments, efforts, improvements and successes at the end of every half term. The winners are rewarded with an R4, postcard home and placed on the Dance Student Award display board which is located in the Dance office and pictured below.

Miss Dolan and I have really struggled choosing our first set of students award winners as all have worked so hard, but the decision has been made and we are happy to present the winners…

‘Best Student Homework’ award is given to Eric Harut (7O).
Eric completed a brilliant piece of work based on the 8 Dance Actions. It included clear and detailed definitions and interactive segments that could be lifted to expose more information. His work has been placed on the display board for all to see and learn from. Well done Eric!

‘Most Improved Dancer’ awards have been awarded to:

  • Brooke Lloyd-Pearson (7W)
  • Alfie Fish (8W)
  • Daniel Brezeanu (9O)

‘Outstanding Dancer’ awards are presented to one student from each key stage. The first set are awarded to:

  • Hashim Khan (9W) – Key Stage 3
  • Annabel Fish (10W) – Key Stage 4
  • Pola Fiszer (12S) – Key Stage 5

Well done to the well deserving winners!

If you want to win one of these awards at the end of next term, talk to these students, set personal goals and continue to challenge yourself. We look forward to seeing all of your progress!
